It is already month 4 in the Amitie BOM, the Gypsy Wife. This month's block is called Crazy Anne and I mixed Amitie's fabrics with some of my own. Here is the block I made:
And here is the original Amitie version of this block. You can see that this month I've stuck pretty close to the original although I've just noticed that mine twirls the other way to the original!
I think a girl can twirl whichever way she wishes!
ReplyDeletenow this month I definitely prefer your color scheme. Great job Lynne!
ReplyDeleteSame but different. Twirl away! Di x
ReplyDeleteBoth are very pretty! I love those colors!
ReplyDeleteI love the way the spiral in the centre square accentuates the twirling - what a great block!
ReplyDeleteI think I like your version better. I like the fussy cut bloom in the middle :-)
ReplyDeleteI like yours a ton ... great movement and really nice to see the piecing, which I think is a bit lost in the original, which is less Crazy Anne, more Depressed Diana
ReplyDeleteAlternate twirls, you rebel!
ReplyDeleteEverything about that is beautiful. The colors the patterns, and the arrangement. Great job.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! You inspired me to get the pattern and fabric for myself, love this quilt.
ReplyDeleteYour Twirl stands out better... neat block.
ReplyDeleteanother stunner of a block.
