I am seriously considering making a wallhanging or full quilt sized version of this in Oakshott shot cottons and maybe even splashing out on their colourbox which is on sale at the moment. I'm even wondering about doing it as a quiltalong. We'll see. Would anyone fancy making along with me if I did?
Anyway, now it's your turn. What did you work on in January? Link up at the bottom of this post to share what you've been working on. If you do link up, how about visiting at least four of the other blogs who link up - two above you and two below you - and stopping to leave a comment as well as visiting back anyone who visits you. As always here's the button to grab:
<div align="center"><a href="http://lilysquilts.blogspot.com/" title="Fresh Sewing Day"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5069/5883537449_e85ba77279_o.jpg" alt="Fresh Sewing Day" style="border:none;" /></a></div>
And link up in the second linky if you are a blog with fewer than 50 followers and would like to get to know a few more people out there in blogland. Write a post about this feature, add the button and then link up.

<div align="center"><a href="http://lilysquilts.blogspot.com/" title="Small Blog Meet"><img src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6147/5989823380_a69fafd955_m.jpg" alt="Small Blog Meet" style="border:none;" /></a></div>
Next go and visit and get to know at least four other linked blogs - starting with the two above you in the linkys and the two below you. Visit those blogs, leave a comment, click to follow and visit that blog regularly over the next few weeks. Visit more if you have the time. And also visit back any new bloggers who come to visit you and get to know them and their blogs.

January hasn't been a very productive month for me, but I just squeaked in with one small make. I must do better next month!
Pomona x
that is amazing!
and the colourbox is fab - I spent my birthday money on one last year and love it. I've even managed to actually use some of the fabric rather than just stroking it all!
love your mini quilt! I don't know how you do it! Love those solids too. x
January wasn`t too productive for me either but thinking January will be better. Love your wall hanging - the colours are incredble and distinctively you.
The mini is just gorgeous!!
Yay! I would absolutely be up for this as a quilt along !
I so love this. Good luck stopping me from joining in on this as a quilt along!!!
That turned out fantastic. The quilting really adds a whole different dimension to it. I love everything about it! Well done!
Wow! The movement in that mini is amazing! Gorgeous!
I might quilt along, I love the pattern, not sure what size I would make.
What a beautiful mini! Love your use of solids. I might quilt along. It all depends on what else is going on. February looks like it will be a busy month. Is it as complex to make as it looks?
Lovely mini, your quilting really makes it, takes a bit of the edges off! Looks good :-)
That little quilt is such a fun piece! Beautifully done!
Love the mini quilt, it just zings. Can't promise to join in a QAL, still hexing.........
Love the mini quilt! You are crazily productive....
Love the shape of the mini! It's fantastic! I must try working with darker fabrics.
Love the mini quilt - I could very easily be tempted into starting another quilt along!
That is one incredible mini! I love love love the octagon shape. I'm sure your partner will adore it too! : )
I was immediately drawn to that quilt when you first posted it. I would totally do a quiltalong. Totally.
Beautiful quilting! Thanks for organizing the small blog meet. It's so encouraging for a new blogger like me to see other people who are starting out too. I'm a new follower to your blog and love to see what you're doing!
Oooh, just love that wee mini!
The octagon quilt is **amazing**! I love the gradation of colours, especially with the dark backing. Thanks for organising the link up too.
The mini looks great - I see so many shapes and patterns in it! I'm thinking of getting some Oakshott to use between my rose and star blocks, I've never used any but it looks gorgeous!
I love your mini quilt! It is very striking. I think a quilt-along would be so much fun and I would definitely join in. I'm linking up to Fresh Sewing Day and the Small Blog Meet for the first time; thanks so much for hosting!
I've actually had a big sewing month--for me LOL. Did both, but cannot figure out how to get the linkys to work within my posts. I just get ugly html--they work fine as widgets.
Wht a cute quilt! Love it!
You quilt looks amazing! Great job.. I am a fan of storm at sea and all its variations :)
Nothing was completed in January--unexpectedly, we ended up focusing our attention on our dog Nick, who blew out his knee. Surgery, p.t., TLC...and a few moments here and there spent working on a crazy quilt for my sweetheart. Given how the rest of the month has gone, I'm considering that a success.
I have been knitting productively in January...it's time to quilt! This would be a great quilt along because the size is not overwhelming. Love your colors.
You missus are a terrible temptress! That colourbox is lovely - and hmm, I might have bought one now!
Love the mini! The Oakshott colourbox looks lovely, I'm resisting clicking on the link!
Love the quilt. Were you tempted to smack your husband in the head with it? I would've been :)
I love your mini!! The colors are awesome and I would love to hang that on my wall. Thanks again for hosting this each month, it's really so much fun!! I hope your having a fantastic day!!
I love your miniquilt and I love your ideas on qals.Unfortunately my energy levels are not as high as yours (o boy, but back in the old days!!).
No seriously, it was ok. I only had two migraines, both lasting a week.
Better two than four ...
So bring on that new splash of energy and HIT ME!!
