This week on Instagram I have a few new quilts to show you including a pencil quilt which appeared in the most recent edition of Love Patchwork and Quilting Magazine.
During the same period, I finished three quilts for Makower featuring their new fabric lines. Grey's Court is a more traditional line but with a lovely strong palette.
It was accompanied by a pencil tips wall hanging - both ideal teacher gifts although the quilt construction is not for the faint hearted!
Patch is a dog and bone themed fabric line - ideal for cot quilts and kids quilts.
And finally Asami is a Japanese inspired line in two colourways - I made the quilt in the pink colourway and there is an additional softer, greyer palette.
And last but not least, I had a fantastic weekend teaching at the first Simply Solids Retreat and had a great weekend with everyone there including my quilting BFFs Mandy, Katy, Lisa and Justine
I taught Touchdraw on the Friday afternoon and then foundation paper pieced HSTs to make these pincushions on the Sunday morning.
All of your quilts are outstanding. I can see why the pencil quilt is not for the faint of heart. Thank you for sharing everything and have a wonderful creative day!
