Earlier this year, I had a chance to try out the new free downloadable charm pack pattern from Fat Quarter Shop called the Charm Pack Cherry. To make this quick and simple quilt, you need two print and two solid charm packs (on sale this week at FQS with a 20% discount until Sunday midnight CST). Head on over to the Jolly Jabber to link to all the other blogposts about this quilt.
You can find the pattern by clicking here and below is a tutorial to help you make the quilt.
I made mine using two black Moda Bella Solids charm packs and two Sweet Serenade charm packs by Basic Grey for Moda.

Finishing at just over 50" square, this is a great beginner's quilt and is a good size for a lap quilt, baby quilt, cot quilt or toddler playmat.
I used the few left-over charm squares to make a strip panel along the back for a little extra interest.
And I straight line quilted it using a black Aurifil 50wt.
I'm a silly wotsit, reading this on feedly and thought it was fqs then thought oh that looks like Lynne's chair lol. Nice quilt
