Are you in the East Midlands?

If you're in the East Midlands, why not join the East Midlands Modern Quilt Guild?  I've missed the first two meetings but will be at the next one on 1 June in my very own village and CANNOT WAIT.  Join the Flickr group here and grab the button (designed by Kerry) here:

  1. Woot! Thanks for sharing :)

  2. Glad that you are joining us. I'm looking forward to my trip out to deepest Derbyshire so I will see you there. Di x

  3. I've started to feel that modern quilting is for me, its where I want to be. I like traditional quilts but it's always been about the quilting, creating interest in a quilt that way.
I toyed with the idea of dipping my toes into art quilts, but decided that's not for me.
So joining a MQG might be the way forward as any regular quilt groups I visit to sell fabrics at seem to be full of ladies who the same age as my mother..........
Only trouble is I'm in North Herts...........guess I need to do a shout out for like minded quilters in the area?! East Midlands is too far :-(

  4. I am just that little bit too far away. Sob!

  5. I'd love to come but at the moment I'm too far away. However, after I move up in September, I'd love to come along.

Comment away peeps :-)
