And once again there is plenty of wonderful inspiration on Flickr.
1. Weekender Bag. My favourite weekend bag ever, made by my multi talented quilter friend Leanne She Can Quilt. This print from Juggling Summer by Zen Chic for Moda would make such a great quilt back I think I'm going to have to invest in some.
2. self study. Chawne always makes thing outside the box. She is fearless with colour and scraps and often works in a beautiful rich palette which I can't quite emulate but always know is hers. I am in love with this self portrait quilt she has made using Dan's silhouette technique.
3. Churn Dash - A Brit Bee Quilt. Annoyingly Laura makes yet another appearance in my Flickr faves - this time with a quilt which I wish I'd made - a great big scrappy churn dash quilt.
4. Pillow Talk Swap 9 - Done! This block, made into a beautiful pillow by Jennifer Sew Stitchy, is one of my favourite blocks and would make the most perfect scrappy quilt with exactly the kinds of fabrics Jennifer's chosen here.
5. Swoon. Katy doesn't usually read my blog so I think I'm pretty safe so say here that, when she was making the blocks for this quilt, I did think - well those look pretty rubbish but I didn't say that to her because it would be rude. But then, annoyingly, because she's cleverer than me, those ugly blocks have of course turned into the coolest quilt and I wish I had that kind of vision.
6. Architecture. Jane of Quiltjane is on some kind of secret bender all of her own here, mixing Architextures, only one of the best lines coming soon, and fabric pen in a kind of futuristic uber cool zenquiltangle and I'm in awe.
7. T-Stars of the Thirties. Linda Rotz Miller strikes again with another quilt full of interest and motion. The more you look at this quilt top, the more you see.
8. EPP progress. EPP always catches my eye and I love this pretty patchwork Elizabeth is making.
Have a great weekend and let me know what's caught your eye on Flickr this week.
