MQM issue 2

Modern Quilting Magazine issue 2 came through my letterbox today.  A Tula Pink quilt is on the front cover:

My Summersville dresden is in there and, in spite of everything, I'm still happy to see something I made in a magazine. 



And it's fun to see some other projects from online friends like this log cabin purse from Ali at Very Berry Handmade.


Jenna Sew Happy Geek's tote bag.


And a Pick up Sticks quilt by Faith at Fresh Lemons.

  10. I was incredibly surprised to see my copy arrive this morning after everything I had read! And it is quite lovely. Very tempted to give your Dresden circle project a go...xx

  18. It's great to see that issue 2 is actually circulating and that folk are enjoying it and getting a chance to see what you and others have made to share - but it's sad that there will be no more ;o(

  19. I got mine too. When i spoke to the administrator she said that their first goal had been to sell the magazine so it could continue ... so *maybe* that's what has happened. Fingers crossed.

  21. not sure how i missed this new magazine. i just subscribed to it but won't get an issue until November. Wonder if you can find these at the bookstore or news stands?
