Fresh Sewing Day and Small Blog Meet

Yowzers September flew by with me achieving pretty much nothing.  I did make this cushion cover with zippered back and I am pretty proud of that.

Dead Simple Palette Pillow Tute

I took this palette:

Picked these Kona solids and mixed in some matching prints:

Palette for Dead Simple Palette Pilloe

Sewed together strips and quilted then added a quilted and zippered pillow back made from the green Cosmo Cricket circa 9134 dot, bound in the same dot and put a tutorial for the whole thing right here.

So what did you make?  Link up at the bottom of this post to show me what you've been working on.  If you do link up, how about visiting at least four of the other blogs who link up - two above you and two below you - and stopping to leave a comment as well as visiting back anyone who visits you.  As always here's the button to grab:
Fresh Sewing Day
<div align="center"><a href="http://lilysquilts.blogspot.com/" title="Fresh Sewing Day"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5069/5883537449_e85ba77279_o.jpg" alt="Fresh Sewing Day" style="border:none;" /></a></div>

And link up in the second linky if you are a blog with fewer than 50 followers and would like to get to know a few more people out there in blogland.  Write a post about this feature, add the button and then link up.

Small Blog Meet
<div align="center"><a href="http://lilysquilts.blogspot.com/" title="Small Blog Meet"><img src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6147/5989823380_a69fafd955_m.jpg" alt="Small Blog Meet" style="border:none;" /></a></div>

Next go and visit and get to know at least four other linked blogs - starting with the two above you in the linkys and the two below you. Visit those blogs, leave a comment, click to follow and visit that blog regularly over the next few weeks. Visit more if you have the time.  And also visit back any new bloggers who come to visit you and get to know them and their blogs.

Oh and, before I forget, it's my birthday on Monday 3rd - some people like to keep quiet and hope that people remember - I prefer to remind people that way you can all pop in on Monday and wish me a big fat happy birthday and make me feel like you all remembered from last year and make me feel like I'm the popular kid in the playground.

  23. Happy two days before your birthday! I tried to link, but I don't think it worked because it's not appearing on the list - don't want to try again and be accused of link-hogging (in case linky is still making up it's mind on me).

  31. Happy birthday, a day late. So here is how our son tried to spread his birthday over three days, which I think you will appreciate. The day before was Happy Birthday Eve, you know, like Christmas eve. Then Happy Birthday. Then the day after his birthday was Happy Birthday Adam, you know, like Adam and Eve. He always was wishing for presents on three consecutive days. That never worked for him. But now we wish each other Happy Birthday Eve and Happy Birthday Adam.

    So, Lynne, Happy Birthday Adam.

    And your cushion is amazing!
