Yowzers September flew by with me achieving pretty much nothing. I did make this cushion cover with zippered back and I am pretty proud of that.
And link up in the second linky if you are a blog with fewer than 50 followers and would like to get to know a few more people out there in blogland. Write a post about this feature, add the button and then link up.
I took this palette:
Picked these Kona solids and mixed in some matching prints:
Sewed together strips and quilted then added a quilted and zippered pillow back made from the green Cosmo Cricket circa 9134 dot, bound in the same dot and put a tutorial for the whole thing right here.
So what did you make? Link up at the bottom of this post to show me what you've been working on. If you do link up, how about visiting at least four of the other blogs who link up - two above you and two below you - and stopping to leave a comment as well as visiting back anyone who visits you. As always here's the button to grab:
<div align="center"><a href="http://lilysquilts.blogspot.com/" title="Fresh Sewing Day"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5069/5883537449_e85ba77279_o.jpg" alt="Fresh Sewing Day" style="border:none;" /></a></div>
And link up in the second linky if you are a blog with fewer than 50 followers and would like to get to know a few more people out there in blogland. Write a post about this feature, add the button and then link up.
<div align="center"><a href="http://lilysquilts.blogspot.com/" title="Small Blog Meet"><img src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6147/5989823380_a69fafd955_m.jpg" alt="Small Blog Meet" style="border:none;" /></a></div>
Next go and visit and get to know at least four other linked blogs - starting with the two above you in the linkys and the two below you. Visit those blogs, leave a comment, click to follow and visit that blog regularly over the next few weeks. Visit more if you have the time. And also visit back any new bloggers who come to visit you and get to know them and their blogs.
Oh and, before I forget, it's my birthday on Monday 3rd - some people like to keep quiet and hope that people remember - I prefer to remind people that way you can all pop in on Monday and wish me a big fat happy birthday and make me feel like you all remembered from last year and make me feel like I'm the popular kid in the playground.
I love your cushion so much!! Just linked to FSD for the first time (well, first time linking anywhere!) - thank you!

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, a day late. So here is how our son tried to spread his birthday over three days, which I think you will appreciate. The day before was Happy Birthday Eve, you know, like Christmas eve. Then Happy Birthday. Then the day after his birthday was Happy Birthday Adam, you know, like Adam and Eve. He always was wishing for presents on three consecutive days. That never worked for him. But now we wish each other Happy Birthday Eve and Happy Birthday Adam.
ReplyDeleteSo, Lynne, Happy Birthday Adam.
And your cushion is amazing!
