Giveaway Mondays - Intentional Piecing

This week I have a copy of Amy Friend's new book, Intentional Piecing to review and give away.  I've been eagerly awaiting this book for some time as Amy is one of the most talented paper piecers (and in fact quilters) around at the moment.  The book contains a lot of beautiful foundation paper piecing and the theme of the book is all about making careful and considered choices of fabric and fussy cutting to enhance your quilting projects.

There are loads of gorgeous projects in this book but I'm going to highlight first the one that really caught my eye and my imagination and show that to you.  It is called My Tribe and features paper pieced teepees and arrows and just feels to me like one of those quilts we will all want to make.

Other wonderful projects from the book include these six below which I have chosen to give a flavour of the variety of projects in the book which includes both larger simpler projects as well as more detailed paper pieced projects.  Incidentally, the model bottom right is Amy's own gorgeous daughter!

If you want to get hold of a copy of the book, the publishers, Lucky Spool, are giving a special 30% off offer at the moment if you use code FRIEND30 and if you want a chance to win a copy, leave a comment on this post to be in with a chance to win.
