Here are a few of the photos I've shared this week on Instagram where I post as @lilysquilts. First up is the quilt top I was designing last week. The quilt is now all made but this was a photo taken at the stage where the eight lone star segments were together to give me an idea of how the quilt was going to look.
Next up on the sewing machine is a quilt using an upcoming line, Sew View, by Makower UK. I love sailboat blocks and this little 10" block uses 1" HSTs which I paper piece with 40 all on one printable sheet. This way of making HSTs makes the whole process so much quicker, easier and more accurate.
On the shopping front, I've been resisting Loominous by Anna Maria Horner for some time but finally caved and ordered a bundle from Sew Me A Song who also sent me this beautiful little daisy bundle as a bonus.
A week or two ago, the new edition of Love Patchwork and Quilting came out with my Arrows quilt using Franklin by Denyse Schmidt.
And my new BOM programme using Pie Making Day by Brenda Ratliff.
I love that first done...all are delightful!!

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you make with loominous. I bought it a while back, but haven't done anything with it but pet it. It's so beautiful!
