Every quarter on this blog, we will be featuring my favourite needles - Superior Titanium Topstitch needles- and, as often as I can, I will be giving some of those away. And today we are giving away five $10 Superior vouchers so that five lucky winners can try these needles (or anything from the Superior website) out for themselves - and whatever they choose will be shipped to them free of charge so that they get the benefit of the full $10!
So for those of you who don't know, Superior Titanium Topstitch Needles are different from other needles in that they are titanium tipped which keeps them sharper much, much longer. Once again, if you want to find out more about them, this infographic posted on the Superior site explains how these needles differ from regular sewing machine needles and how much longer they stay sharper because of the titanium tips. You can click through to read it properly.
And Superior have a whole series of youtube videos giving you more information about their needles, how they differ from other needles and how to choose the correct needle.

ReplyDeleteGood needles, like those on the Superior site, are important. In a moment of weakness and adventure(?) I bought a store brand cheaper needle. As I was doing decorative stitching around a simple flannel burp cloth, the needle broke. Found the main piece with the shaft had flown onto my magnetic pin holder...never did find the tip of the needle. I cleaned out the bobbin case and just hope it didn't get into the workings of the machine. Lucky I didn't put my eye out! What a lesson.
ReplyDeleteI signed up for the newsletter. I've heard such great things about Superior needles (:
