The Barn Quilt Advent Calendar

Do you love advent and advent calendars?  Do you love barns and quilts?  Well coming to the blog every day in December starting Monday is ...  the Barn Quilt Advent Calendar.  One free printable pdf every day which you colour in, fold into a little barn and pop on the mantlepiece.  You can fill it with sweets, chocolates or other small Christmas gifts.

Are you in?  If you're going to play along, I'd love to know!  And if you are, you will need:
  • 24 pieces card for your printer )or more if you have several children who may enjoy colouring in);
  • colouring pens or pencils; and
  • glue or double sided sticky tape.
Let me know if you're in and I'd love to see pictures of your advent barn quilts on Flickr, by email or on Instagram #barnquiltalong @lilysquilts.

If you be prepared to road test the prototype for me and give me feedback, send me an email and the first five will be emailed the pdf of the barn for the 1st of December.

  1. Ooh! This looks exciting! So we're MAKING the thing over Advent, rather than attempting to create the whole lot of some impossible Pinterest fantasy at 11.59pm on November 30 after consuming too much whisky? If so, this is my kind of advent calendar.

    Just one question. When do we eat the Stuff?
