st louis16 patch quilt for sale

This quilt is made using Anna Maria Horner voiles which are incredible soft.  It is 80" square and backed with the Anna Maria Horner Field Study print you can see turned over on one of the corners further down in the photos.  It is for sale for £300 shipped in the UK, $500 shipped elsewhere in the world.  Email me at lilysquilts@gmail.com if you're interested or if you would like more information.

I quilted it using a deep bright pink Aurifil 40wt.

It is quilted in straight line diagonal cross hatch.

I backed it using this fabulous large scale Anna Maria Horner Field Study print and bound in a deep berry solid.

And its fate is now undecided.  Do I keep it and add it to the excessively large pile of quilts in this house?  Do I give it away to someone in my family?  Or shall I sell it?  Seriously, as sad as it is to sell quilts, I might end up doing that with this one because otherwise my house will start to turn into one of those episodes of hoarders where the children are pinned to the floor by the weight of quilts in every room.

  2. Hi Lily, I just want to compliment you on such a great blog. I am not a modern quilter, but a traditional quilter. The info you post is so informative, your links, little lessons, etc. wish you lived in the USA and could teach me to use touchdraw...I just can't seem to get it down pat and you and your friends do a great job with it. Again, love your blog and maybe someday I'll be working on a more modern quilt due to the lovelies you post about here! Beautiful quilt shown above...I'd think it will sell pretty quick for you!
