Fat Quarterly Summer Issue on sale today

Today the "Summer" issue of Fat Quarterly goes on sale. It is packed full of summery projects including this Garden Trellis picnic blanket made from Pam Kitty Morning's Pam Kitty Love line for Lakehouse. The retro kitschy feel of the fabrics made me picture a happy housewife in the fifties, pruning her roses wearing a floral print dress, kitten heels and ermine trimmed gardening gloves waiting for her husband to come home from work. Just like me really. Ish.

  1. I can just see you in those ermine trimmed gloves. I have downloaded my issue and it is lovely, thank you.

  4. Nice quilt and "garden vision". I shudder to think what quilt would coordinate with MY gardening outfit: old jeans, tee shirt, gloves with holes and muddy/dusty shoes.

  5. Oooh, do you have a turquoise feather duster too?

  7. Lovely fabrics and lovely quilt. Can picture you now. I can even glimpse your pristine house through the window. And is that the smell of baking wafting through the open window too? Hmmm? :-) Xxx

  8. I just bought this months issue to get this pattern. Even though the thought of all that sashing makes me feel a little unwell.
