The Fat Quarter Shop has just announced its sixth annual Designer Mystery Block of the Month.  This year's quilt is going to be a row quilt filled with basket blocks, star blocks, house blocks and flower blocks.  The quilt will be made from the beautiful new collection from Fig Tree Quilts for Moda, Avalon.  Each of the 12 blocks finishes at 12" and will be an easy to intermediate (no templates, applique or paper piecing). The program is from June 2013 to May 2014. This club ships around the 10th of every month. As a member of the 2013 Designer Mystery BOM, you will also receive a bonus 2.5" mini charm pack of the Avalon collection with your first block.

And as well as having a BIG SALE going on right now, Backstitch have just got fabrics from the new Lizzy House line, Constellations which include some fabulous star prints:

  2. It's awesome that there's another Canadian retailer, especially when US postal prices are going up! FYI, it would be great if you actually mentioned their name in your blog post somewhere. ;D
