Well it is a very exciting day for me. The eighth issue of Fat Quarterly, the modern quilting online magazine is out today and this is the first edition I am a part of. Yes me. For real. I even have a new email address: "Lynne@fatquarterly.com". I know! If you haven't tried FQ before, for the price of a quilt pattern, you get a whole host of quilt patterns, pillow patterns and paper piecing patterns because issue 8 is all about paper piecing. If you do buy it, I'd love to know what you think in a comment to this post.
Congrats again Lynne! Love this Paper issue!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great issue! Congratulations on being part of it.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!! Will definitely have a look...
ReplyDeleteCan't wait til Granny coughs up for this one, LOVE paper piecing (although I had a bit of a hate on for it last night at one point lol)
ReplyDeleteCongrats Lynne, I'd signed up for the mag last week so can't wait to see your work in it.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited about this edition. And congrats on being part of it!
ReplyDeleteI've been a subscriber since the first issue & really like it-lots of stuff for the price! One of the other great things, though, is the discount coupons in each issue! Since I'm addicted & going to buy fabric anyway, any discount helps. I probably use then enough to pay for the subscription!
ReplyDeleteI've been a subscriber since issue one. I love it.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your contribution!
Congratulations - looks like a wonderful issue!
ReplyDeletecongrats! it looks like a great issue!
ReplyDeleteI've just renewed my subscription to FQ - I love it!
ReplyDeleteThis edition is great. I've just had my first attempt at paper piecing and it's such fun. I need to find some time now to have a go at some of the cute projects - love your trees :)
This was the first time I had purchased Fat Quarterly. The reason I did was due to the fact Ive become hooked on paper piecing (friends of tired of me going on about it) Love every single pattern, so a thank you for your creativity :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats for being inside the magazine great job.

I`ll have to buy it obvs. but paper piecing always scares me a little. Still, congrats and can`t wait to see what you`ve been up to.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting for you.
ReplyDeleteYay! I think this is the best issue yet, and that's not just cos I'm in it too!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, every issue I think 'they can't top this' and they (now you too WooHoo) do.
I am seriously interested in practising my paper piecing so this issue has been an absolute bloomin joy from virtual cover to virtual cover.
I can't wait to have time to start making!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Lynne! I can see that this is going to be one of my favourite issues! So many projects that I want to try.
ReplyDeleteI bought the whole years worth yesterday, cant wait to sit down with a cuppa and have a good read and a drool at the pictures and projects. What a great thing to be involved in
ReplyDeleteFat Quarterly is great! I just renewed my subscription and I LOVE the paper piecing issue! So many pretty projects! I like that there's always a good mix of bigger and smaller projects to pick from. I have to admit, though that I haven't made any of them, yet. I will definitely try one of the paper piecing projects, it's something I've been wanting to learn! And: I love your pillow design! So pretty and cheerful!
ReplyDeleteGot it yesterday. Tried to resist but my will-power lasted about 10 minutes! Great issue - well done!
