  9. And if you had an older sister, who has always been an avid follower let's face it, and you fancied giving her a 'thank you for following me since the Dark Ages' gift, I reckon that cushion would be it.

  17. Hi Lynne - am your latest new follower all the way from Madame Samm though have often read your blog before - have had a look at your Dead Simple Quiltalong too as "Help With Selecting Coloursand Placement of Colours" is definitely what I need. Design Seeds looks great - never thought of slecting colours that way. Am too busy this year to start anything new, but will bookmark for next year. No, hang on... next year's pretty full too! 26. Lynne I just had to come over from Stash to tell you I loved your comment about not having time to talk to your kids - you're quilting! I've quilted since '95 and my kids have long since given up on me being available/on call for them. :) Now make no mistake I babysit when I can but they all know I'm a busy lady and living every moment, not sitting home waiting by the phone. And they love it that I have a hobby that I love and that is so much fun for me. Love your blog! blessings, marlene

  27. Ohhhh, your pillow on SEW WE QUILT is darling. The whole idea of color has always been a challenge to me. I hope I can become more comfortable with it and your tut was a great start.

  30. That was a great pillow tutorial over on Stash Manicure. It always takes me a second to translate British English to American English. I'm not familiar with the phrase "dead simple." But I got it! I'm a follower and have been reading your blog for some months now. Thanks for the inspiration!
