It's Fresh Sewing Day again

It's the first of the month again - Fresh Sewing Day here at Lily's Quilts.  Come and share something you've enjoyed working on this month using the linky at the bottom of the post.  Link to a Flickr photo or to a blogpost (not just to your blog) and add this button into your post if you like.

Then we can all blog hop a bit and go and see what everyone else has been working on. Leave as many comments as you can wherever you go and, if someone visits to leave a comment on your post, head on over to their blog and leave a comment there. This is a fun way to meet new bloggers and perhaps gain a few new followers on your blog.  As usual, I will randomly pick one of the linkys and that person will have a feature post on my blog.

I think my favourite thing I made this month was the Big Little George mini quilt and the fact that so many of you sewed along with me.  For me that has been so much more fun than anything else I've done since I've started blogging so there'll be lots more tutorials and sew-alongs coming here.

As usual, Peg and Becca from Sew Fresh Fabrics are involved in this feature. This month, they are giving you all a shipping special offer. They are offering flat rate shipping to you for one week from today until 8 May at $2.50US/ $5 Canada/ $7 International. They can't make the Etsy codes work out for this so will refund you after payment. You need to put LQSHIP in the "Notes to Seller".  How about treating yourself to this month's Lily's Quilts Unafraid of Colour bundle?!

So here is the place to add your linky.  Since we have no thumbnail pictures of links this month, you need to be creative in your description so that people are enticed into coming to see your link.  I will be watching out for linky descriptions that make me laugh / intrigue me / maybe even shock me into taking a peek at what you've been up to.

  5. Keep forgetting to tell you, thank you so much for starting this linky thing up last month, and the Flickr site. I have met more wonderful people who share my love of quilting in the past month than I have in my lifetime - probably because I didn't really know anyone at all before this! It has been so nice to chat to people, become involved in a 'community' and be a part of this as a whole. So a huge thank you.

  14. I've almost completed my second BLG, but can't find enough of the right background fabric in my stash. I'm debating over whether or not I should piece small leftovers to have a large enough piece of the fabric I want to use.
