Well I thought my Union Jack blocks in Whimsy were the coolest thing out there but it turns out I was wrong. Take a look at these Castle Peeps Union Jack blocks made by Jenny Welding Caps. What do you think?
I've seen them on flickr and they're just too cool {although I prefer non-directional prints or keeping the design straight...but the peeps are sooo cute!}. Did you know that there will most likely to be some "orient peeps" in Lizzy's next line??? Can't wit for it!
I never, ever, would have thought to use that directional line for such a block. Brilliant! I love how it gives them incredible movement, like they are each a little kaleidescope image! Hmmm, I do have a FQ set of Castle Peeps burning a hole in my fabric shelves....
They are really fun union jack blocks! I like how each block is made of interesting fabric so looking closely at each block is fun! I love your union jack block too!
They look great, I like the pink and green one the best x
