Fabric Friday

Some gorgeous new fabrics have landed on my doorstep this week.  Jardin De Provence is an upcoming line from Windham Fabrics and has some beautiful later scale text and simple floral prints. And that cream on black dot is one of those perfect dot prints that only come along once in a while.

I have been coveting this bundle of Suzuko Koseki stripes from Sew Me A Song for as long as I can remember and finally caved and ordered them.  At the moment I've got now idea what I'm going to do with them - they would make amazing bindings but I feel like I need to design a quilt around them.

And finally the long awaited Sophia from Makower arrived this week along with some teal and cream linea which is their new basic range.  The palette in this line is so soft and gentle and would make a great baby boy or baby girl quilt but also works well when you mix both the pinks and the blues into one quilt which is what I have in mind.

  1. I can't wait to see what you do with those stripes, I've been coveting them too but chances are they would just live in my stash forever!

  2. So gorgeous! I was eyeing Jardin de Provence this week when I visited Windham's site earlier this week. Can't wait to see what you do with it. Have a super day!
