Quilt Now - new quilting magazine - win a subscription!

Quilt Now is a brand spanking new quilting magazine, with the first issue due to arrive in July and right now you can win a subscription.  It's gonna be fresh, it's gonna be modern and it's being edited by marvellous international quiltguru that is Katy Jones (aka I'm a Ginger Monkey and Quilt Monkey).   You can get the first 3 issues delivered in the UK for just £5 if you subscribe now!  To take advantage of this CRAZY CHEAP offer, click here to take you to the sign up page.  And if at any time you want to cancel your subscription, you can, there's no obligation to carry on.

And to be in with a chance of winning a subscription to the new mag (UK only this time but I'll be fighting for US, Europe, ROW next time, don't you worry), just leave a comment on this post, any comment at all - possibly a rude insult that will make me laugh.  Winner to be drawn by random number generator this time next week.

  8. New quilting magazines seem to be like buses; you wait for ages for one, then several appear at once. Here's my very childish rude comment - 5318008 - but you'll have to turn your screen upside down to read it.

  9. Ok why is it when you invite me to be rude my mind goes blank!? ;-)

  10. Too much of a baby brain to think of anything rude lol. Would love to win the subscription 😊 thanks

  11. Glad to say like fellow commentors cannot think of anything rude to say! There can never be too many quilt magazines, so I am sure I could easily hide a few more about the house without my husband finding them.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I just subscribed - though still time to cancel it if I win ;)

  13. I'm very excited about this new mag. I'd find it much easier to be rude if you were trying to sell me double glazing! 😝

  15. Brilliant. Can't wait till it comes out.
I don't do rude but here is a joke: I stole this from a friend; When he gets phone calls about switching his energy provider, he politely advises the customer service rep "Sorry mate, I am steam powered here. Not interested in cheaper gas and electric".
    Hope this made you laugh

  24. What a load of prudes they are above! I expect the magazine will be full of blocks like those in that 500 blocks book that is so uninspiring and I'll just think that they could have done better but I won't know unless I read it.

  30. Yes please, enter me in the draw, just love patchwork quilting and a new magazine to glean ideas from will be just great

    ReplyDelete
  31. Since I can't win because I am in the USA, I tried to subscribe. Not possible. promotion not valid in that country. Oh well... Please don't pick me.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  33. an insult??? I couldn't possibly!
    Thanks Lynne!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Please let me win the draw - I bank with Santander and for some reason my sort code doesn't work with the subscription form. Katy knows about it but winning this would save me having to print and post the form!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm jealous! I guess the commonwealth (canada) doesn't rank when it comes to shipping ... But for the price you mentioned I'd take an e-book subscription instead.
Now, insults - your mother smells of elderberries and your father was a snowblower!

  36. Cer i grafu! (Ask him indoors for a translation - well you did ask us to be rude so it would be rude not to!)

  39. Oooh, another fab magazine, the UK is rocking it with new Quilting Mags, can't wait to see what excitement it will have to offer. Something rude, the pressure, doesn't seem fair when you're offering a prize, but here goes, if i don't win then you're a stinky bumface, don't want to be too offensive as i think some of these ladies will set upon me (and they're pretty scary)!

    ReplyDelete
  40. HI, sounds really neat!
    Thanks for sharing!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Wonderful to hear of a new publication, would love to see an issue, is it going to be available to newsagents?

  54. I have recently become fascinated by patchwork and quilts and would love to Win a subscription - I would learn so much from the magazine

    ReplyDelete
  55. This magazine looks great, it would be nice to see fabric amounts in cm/m's, not yards so I know how much to buy without working it out myself.

  56. I learnt a new word today. Spam trumpet.

Can you guess what it means?

    ReplyDelete
  57. my previous comment was rude, a spam trumpet isn't to be sniffed at (literally) but then I read the other comments - what part of UK ONLY didn't all those Canadians and Americans understand?? Like they don't have enough quilting magazines and dirt cheap fabric without trying to win the very few UK only giveaways?!?! &^%^&*^&%

  58. My mum needs this mag, my sub is already sorted, yay katy

  60. I was showing my quilting friends your blog and we decided that we prefer our blogs to not have any mention of lady parts (or associated hair) and although we admire your tutorial for machine binding we prefer to stitch it all on by hand. Usually using cat hair that we've spun into fine thread (we dye the cat to match the binding fabric) so if you could do that in the future then we'd really appreciate it.

P.S. I can't imagine how wonderful a quilting magazine edited by Katy is going to be but I know it's going to be better than anything I could hope for!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Tried your binding by machine, and because I'm too skint to have the binding clips that everyone on the blogosphere have it took me flippin longer than when I bind by hand. What have you done? You've pushed me towards the Quilt Police?! :-p

    ReplyDelete
  62. Great blog and thanks for sharing the info on quick quilting, I'll be adding that book to my list! I would also love to win this super giveaway, as a girl can't have too many quilting magazines x
