Have you read Love Quilting & Patchwork Magazine? It's a UK publication which is available worldwide and online. In my mind it's the best, brightest and freshest modern quilting magazine out there right now. And I'm not being paid or sponsored to say this! This month's issue is my favourite so far partly because of the most stunning, unusual and creative quilt made by Maureen Cracknell which appears on the front cover.
But there are also contributions from some of my real life and online UK quilting friends including Judith of Needles and Lemons ...
I'd buy the magazine just for this quilt let alone anything else that's in there.
... Jo Avery of My Bearpaw ...
... and Fiona Calvert of Poppy Makes.
And on top of all that, there is a free Amy Butler Hapi block booklet packed with blocks designed and made by ... well ... me.
And my Block of the Month feature which includes a free quilt pattern each month.
It's such a great mag - all killer no filler!! I adore your block this month and just said in the post I did yesterday about this issue that your block was worth buying the mag for alone!
ReplyDeleteYhanks for the preview. I certainly need to hunt down a subscription!
ReplyDeleteI want to have an online subscription, but I could´t find where to buy it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun Magazine. Great you are in it with your lovely work,
ReplyDeleteIt is a brilliant read, I have taken it from the beginning. I am busy stash and scrap busting now but once done with that I have a serious list of Must Do's.

ReplyDeletelooks like a have to have item!!!
ReplyDeleteWorth the subscription 10x over xxx
ReplyDeleteI L-O-V-E this new mag! I won a copy about a month ago and it's the first quilting magazine I actually WANTED to subscribe to, but the U.S. rate is a little too high for me right now. Once I get an iPad I'm definitely getting a digital subscription! In the meantime I"ll just live vicariously through these online snippets? :(
ReplyDeleteI hate waiting a month to get the new issue.
