October is a big month for me. Tomorrow, I will have been married for 20 years and, I'm never one to be too sentimental, but let's just say that I have been lucky in love. The day after is my birthday and this year I'm just 2 years away from 50 which is a funny old thought.
I've made a few bits and pieces this month but this scrappy EPP hexagon pillow is the only one I haven't shown you. I'm relying on Brioni not reading my blog before she sets off to my house this morning for a kitchen guild meet up since this is her birthday present. We're celebrating my birthday and hers along with Mandy, Justine, Trudi, Katy and a ton of kids since the teachers are on strike tomorrow. I made the pillow using a wonderful pre-cut hexagons pack from Ali at veryberryhandmade. I then appliqued onto a fabulous music fabric from Aspen Frost by Moda of which I panic stashed 6 yards from Fat Quarter Shop a couple of weeks ago.
And what about you? What have you worked on this month? Any finishes? Maybe a mosaic of everything you've been doing? One favourite thing? Link up at the bottom of this post to share what you've been working on. If you do link up, how about visiting at least four of the other blogs who link up - two above you and two below you - and stopping to leave a comment as well as visiting back anyone who visits you. As always here's the button to grab.
