Please say it's not December. When you're a kid, December is so exciting and counting the days and starting opening the advent calendars. When you're a grown-up, it's getting gifts for everyone and getting food and making plans and it doesn't seem like there's enough time. I'm feeling panicky and anxious like I always do right on this very day. OK so back to business. What have you made, worked on, shopped for? My fave makes this month are these two Tilda quilts I made for Sizzix using their HST, square and strip dies. Firstly Granny's best china.
What about you? What have you worked on this month? Any finishes? Maybe a mosaic of everything you've been doing? One favourite thing? Link up at the bottom of this post to share what you've been working on. If you do link up, how about visiting at least four of the other blogs who link up - two above you and two below you - and stopping to leave a comment as well as visiting back anyone who visits you. As always here's the button to grab.

And link up in the second linky if you are a blog with fewer than 50 followers and would like to get to know a few more people out there in blogland. Write a post about this feature, add this button and then link up.

Next go and visit and get to know at least four other linked blogs - starting with the two above you in the linkys and the two below you. Visit those blogs, leave a comment, click to follow and visit that blog regularly over the next few weeks. Visit more if you have the time. And also visit back any new bloggers who come to visit you and get to know them and their blogs.
These are both such lovely quilts Lynne. The combination of the fabrics and the plain background gives such a serene effect.
ReplyDeleteI think these are two of my favourite quilts you have made in one blog post. And I've sewn this month so have somethink to link up hurrah - off to write a blog post now!
ReplyDeleteGranny's Best China is fabulous, this style of quilting, as usual, makes me think of chocolate, never a bad thing.x
ReplyDeleteI love both your quilts Lynne, but especially granny's best china - that quilting looks soooooo good, and I love the design.
ReplyDeleteOh Lynne, one of these days I will learn to remember to prepare a Fresh Sewing Day mosaic.... I really love that bubble wrap quilt, and I think I might just bookmark that one for later :-)
ReplyDeleteLynne, your quilts are full of wonder...beautiful and stunning!
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful quilts Lynne! I like the names.
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful quilts!! I can't believe it's December already...
ReplyDeleteYour quilts are lovely. I agree about December, lots of denial here.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Granny's Best China is so stunning! I'm super excited it's December! If I don't get everything prepared I think I have a good excuse ;)
ReplyDeleteI've been coveting my local fabric store's Tilda supply for a few months now. Both of these quilts are tempting me to buy - but I will hold out (till after Christmas, at least!). Thanks for the chance to link up with other small blogs :)
ReplyDeleteLove your big finishes :o) I'm in denial about it being the first of the month apparently, probably due to spending last night in the pub after work ;o)
ReplyDeleteBoth of your quilts are amazing! I've always been partial to snowball blocks, I love how they showcase beautiful fabric.
ReplyDeletewho hyjacked November?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous quilts - love the colours in these pretty fabrics!
ReplyDeleteStunning quilts, I must admit that Granny's Best China is my favorite. I love the colours you've used in both quilts. Since this is a pattern of your own design, do you have any plans on printing and releasing it for purchase??
