Although you are aware that I love to piece and quilt, you may not be aware of my background in dance. When we were on holiday in Wales over Easter my daughters choreographed a dance routine and I had a go. Turns out I'm not as good on video as I am in my head. Who knew? Oh and I lied about that background in dance.
Yes, I would laugh at your expense. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteQuilter extraordinaire and dancing queen. Is it fair that one person should have so much talent? ;-)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely brilliant!!! xo
ReplyDeleteYou are one brave lady - I'd never be able to put a video of myself up on line - looks like you had a laugh yourself ;0)
ReplyDeleteDidn't laugh at all, honest... (yup, I lied about that too)
ReplyDeleteI should stick to quilting if I were you!
ReplyDeletewe are not worthy
ReplyDeleteHaha! Silly girl :) Way better than I could do, I'm sure of that!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love it!!!! Thanks for a great laugh.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha ha.. I haven't laughed so much in ages, that was really brave of you to show us that...foolish but brave, just don't give up the day job! Hugs xxx
ReplyDeleteHa! My husbands been trying to film me dancing in the kitchen but alas no luck. The world should be thankful :)
ReplyDeleteI am impressed that your daughters encourage you to dance. Mine usually yell, "Stop! Mommy Stop!"
ReplyDeleteStill far better than I could do! You are awesome!
ReplyDeleteToo cute Lynne! Keep on dancing!
ReplyDeleteFabulous! I am just thankful that my girls didn;t video me on 'just dance, the abba version'!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it was the coreographer's fault. Those look like terribly difficult moves.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the floor show at FQ - think the team should do a turn!
ReplyDeleteBig smile ~ so cute!
ReplyDeleteROFLMA, excellent, thank you :oD
ReplyDeletevery brave......i dont even put my snap on line never mind a dance vid...
ReplyDeleteWhat a good sport you are! Sounded like your daughters had a blast :)
ReplyDeleteFunny, but also sweet, that you allow us to laugh WITH you!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, oh dear, oh dear! Yes, I did enjoy my laugh, thanks x
ReplyDeleteThe reason I dance is to feel good inside :) That's what it's for! I know I am not nearly as graceful as I used to be, but it makes me smile, so I still dance! You too looked happy and like you were smiling inside- so to me, your dancing was FABULOUS!! I love it!
ReplyDeleteBravo. I'm with Candice, when I dance, it's for myself. Be Happy!
ReplyDeleteYour kids will remember that you are a cool mommy - that's all that matters!
ReplyDelete'the kids are having a blast!! Good for you; it is only fun....
ReplyDeleteteehee - the giggling is priceless. I think the slippers totally make it.
ReplyDeleteGiggling! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had fun!! (As did I!)
ReplyDeleteyour one in a million!
ReplyDeleteWow, with daughters like that, who needs enemas?
ReplyDeleteI applaud your willingness to post that!! Looks like it was fun!!
Hahahahaha! Sorry you said I could.
ReplyDeleteWhat exactly were you dancing to? =D
As much as i would love to laugh, I see myself street dance every week and it really would be pot calling the kettle black. I think i realised my limitations when the instructor said "it's easier if you are short". She's about 5ft and i'm 5ft 8. Well done you for sharing though!
ReplyDeleteIt's a good job you are a fabulous quiltist!
ReplyDeleteDance like nobody is watching...Lynne you looked great. I love that you change the top of your blog every once and awhile. keeps things fresh,
ReplyDeleteThat is the absolute best thing I have seen all day. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you doing wasting your talent on quilting - you belong on the West End!
ReplyDeleteI did laugh, thanks for the cheering up! :) You weren't that bad at all! At least the kids liked it as I could hear it from the giggles :)
ReplyDeleteAt least you're not jiggling all over like I would be if I tried that! Loved it! Not bad, girl, not bad!!
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed the little giggles in the background. Cute!
ReplyDeleteLet me just say I absolutely love reading your blog, you crack me up!
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing, I'm laughing - not at you but with you, brave momma that you are. The gigles are just priceless!
ReplyDeleteToo bad "River Dance" is not auditioning, you might have a whole new career. You are a brave woman. I don't know many moms who would be willing to make their daughters happy by posting a video on the web. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteYou aren't as taut as you were when you were a prima ballerina at Mrs Grace's.
ReplyDeleteHilarious! But you did much better than I would have!
ReplyDeleteThat was so cute. I love that you do silly things like that with your girls. THOSE are the things of memories.
ReplyDeleteHahahahahaha! I love it! Thank you for sharing such a gem with us!
