sneakity peekity

Finalemente, here is a sneakity peekity at the foundation paper pieced pillow I made for the upcoming issue of Fat Quarterly, out on 30 January.  This issue is packed full of paper piecing projects and all for the price of a quilt pattern.  I'd love to see your version of my Summersville Trees pillow.  If you make one, please add it to my Flickr group as well as to the Fat Quarterly group page so we can all admire your work.

LOVE your pillow! I might have to get over my aversion to paper piecing and get the next issue of fat quarterly :)

Looks great Lynne! I'm just having my first attempt at paper piecing so I'll be practised and raring to go, lol.

Eek! I love this, and paper piecing is on my list of things to try so I am now eagerly awaiting the next Fat quarterly issue (not that I wasn't anyway, but you know what I mean!)

Oh very nice, love the pattern and the fabric is fantastic. Paper piecing is on my 'must learn'list for this year so maybe this could push me over the edge to actually trying some.

Haha Hadley!

I've been trying to overcome my un-love of paper piecing making wonky house blocks!

Will be doing wonky trees next, so may have to give your little number a go! Roll on the next edition of FQ!

Spooky my word verification is 'hates' !? Maybe I don't like PP yet!?

Cute! This looks promising. I'm only just beginning my foray into the world of paper piecing, so it sounds like this upcoming issue could give me a great boost. Hooray!

Cute pillow--a lot of new fabric lines coming out that would sure go well with that pattern!

Gorgeous! Don't take this the wrong way, but I actually thought they were lamp shades - but then I think that would be even cooler than trees, so it is still a compliment!

Oh boy do I love this. I really like paper piecing and this will be a great excuse. Monday I know where I shall be. I really should subscribe. This is my absolute favorite mag and the only one I actually buy.
