The giveaway is now closed.
So, to kick off Christmas Gifts for Quilters, here is a button you can grab for your blog. The button will link back to the original intro post for this series and, over time, that post will link to all the subsequent posts in the series so just leave the button lying around when friends and relatives are around and hope that they click through and get some great ideas of what to get you for Christmas. And just in case none of your relatives are showing any interest in any of these great ideas, there's a fabulous FQ bundle giveaway at the end of this post (and hopefully all the CG4Q posts).
To kick us off, I had a chat with Peg and Becca from Sew Fresh Fabrics to see what three gifts they would suggest a friend or relative of a quilter might like to give, something small, something medium and something large. And here's what they said. For a small gift, how about a gift certificate. This listing is for $25 but you can buy a certificate for any amount.

For a medium gift, how about a modern stash builder bundle of oval elements 14 fat quarters.
For a large gift how about a bundle Peg and Becca have tailor made for this post. It's another modern stash builder: 18 half yards of their favourite dots, checks and tonals.
And Peg and Becca have decided to give you one of their modern stash builder bundles. They are going to give to one lucky reader a 14 FQ bundle of metro living circles.
To enter this giveaway, you have three chances. The giveaway will close a week today (12 October) at which point the next CG4Q post will go up and a new giveaway announced.

ReplyDeleteWe have a catalog here in the states from a shop called "Hancocks of Paducah". You probably know all about it 'cause you're sharp like that. Anyway all the new Kaffe fabrics were in the most recent mailing, and I told my family I'd like a yard of each for Christmas. My husband's response was "what are you going to make with it?" Which ws a subtle dig meaning "you have too much fabric already". But that's what I REALLY want. Oh yeah, and the time to make something with it ;-)
ReplyDeleteAlways a follower of yours!!
ReplyDeleteI need the Tardis for Christmas so I can go forwards and backwards in time - that way I will be able to buy the fabric I love but didn't get around to buying before it went; be able to warn myself not to make the mistakes I'm going to make - which will save even more time for making stuff!
