Judith from Needles and Lemons sent me this wonderful little rice-filled pincushion which sits next to me at the sewing machine. Thank you Judith :-)

  3. Love the fussy cut centre! You're almost at 1,000 followers. Are you going to have fireworks and chocolate cake to mark the occasion?

  5. So cute. I've been thinking of switching from crushed walnut shells to rice for stuffing pincushions...

  6. I have been thinking about making a few pincushions, but didn't know what to put in them. How well does the rice work? It is much easier to find that walnut shells.

  7. What a nice little pincushion with the design in the centre. Rice for a filling? I've not come across that before, is there a specific reason? All of mine are filled with toy stuffing.
