Wagon Wheel, originally uploaded by Lynne @ Lilys Quilts.
Sewing a binding on a circle is so quick and easy - no corners to stop for. Made using Kona charcoal and the Sew Fresh Lily's Quilts Blender Bundle. Will I ever tire of saying "the Lily's Quilts Blender Bundle"? I don't think so. Happy Mother's Day to those of you in the UK and anywhere else where it's Mother's Day today. Happy Birthday to Ethne Flaming Stitches. And in response to the whole "dumbing down quilting debate", my response is "make whatever makes you happy".
Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day!
(Not sure what to do first, have a shower or eat Chocolate!).
Very cute - and happy mothers day!
ReplyDeleteI really love it as a 'wheel'! Happy mothers day.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful but if I hung it like that around my family I would worry they would start using it as a dart board.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day to you...and ditto to the 'dumbing down' debate! Great wagon wheel!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw your post yesterday I was on my way into town and made a mental note to comment later that I would make it round and not square. Well, I forgot to post but you made it round anyway. Looks fantastic !! And regarding the dumping down idiotic debate I can only say less talk and more crafting is the best policy.
ReplyDeleteSee....I knew it would be perfect when you were done!! Love it!!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful Lynne. I hope you're having a lovely mothers day and that your kids and hubby are spoiling you like you deserve :-)
ReplyDeleteLove this.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day. The question is not how much do I love that wagon wheel but where will it live in your house?
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Love the wagon wheel....and I see a theme here Sheriff Lynne and now a wagon wheel....are you sure you didn't live a past life in the wild, wild west?
ReplyDeleteThanks Lynne - hope you've been spoiled rotten today - Happy Mothers day
ReplyDeleteNow is it a wagon wheel or a dart board (I just wanted to stir things up a bit)
