Sponsored by Sew Fresh Fabrics, this will be a regular spot on the first of every month where you show something you've been working on that month that's made you happy. It could be a finished quilt or it could just be a pile of fabrics and an idea. Add a link using the linky at the bottom to a post and put this button in your blogpost. To do that, copy the text in the box underneath the button, go to your blogpost, click on the "Edit HTML" tab at the top of the text box, paste the copied text into your blogpost and then go back to "compose" and, voila, the button will be there. And what I'd like you all to do it to visit as many of the links as you can and leave comments so a bit of bloglove is shared around. And one link will be picked for a feature on my blog.
Everyone joining in Fresh Sewing Day will get a chance to win this fabulous FQ bundle from Sew Fresh Fabrics. The giveaway bundle consists of 8 fat quarters: Grand Tour from Victoria and Albert books in both colors, bottles in both colors, birds in both colors and cream lines and green lines from the Word Play collection by Bernatex.
You have four ways to enter the giveaway:
1. Each link will be counted as an entry (one link per person). You do not need to add a comment for this entry - the link will be counted as an entry.
2. Visit Sew Fresh Fabrics and pick your favourite bundle and come back and tell me which is your favourite in a comment.
3. Click to follow this blog and tell me that you have in a comment or let me know in a comment that you already do.
4. Bonus comment for anyone with the Sew Fresh Fabrics button on their blog. Two bonus comments for anyone who added it before this post went up - I know who you are.
I will pick winners of the blog feature and FQ bundle in 10 days on 11 April.

ooh...I'm the first one! At least I think I am! I'm going to go backwards. I'm a follower. I will have the Sew Fresh Fabrics button on my blog within days...but alas. Not yet. Doh!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower! And actually I think *I* was first! hee! I was going to choose my DQS10 quilt but this smock made me the most happy because it was for my kiddo who loves it.
ReplyDeleteAnd as for bundles, it's Lynne's Blender Bundle FTW!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite bundle is
ReplyDeletePatty Young Sanctuary Citrus Scrub with Kona Bundle
yum!
Having never done a linky before I think I missed the part where I describe the link, which is kind of important because all I linked to was the fabrics I've used (along with some others) to make a quilt for my nephew's wedding in the middle of April. I can't show the quilt on my blog because he and his bride are regular readers. I'll post a photo after the wedding. But these are the fabrics and the pattern used is Geese in the Park from the Moda Bake Shop. I think it looks FABULOUS!
ReplyDeleteAnd my shop fabrics of choice are the very popular "blender bundle" of fat quarters. I'm a newish quilter so I'm in great need of stash builders.
I am so a follower!

They were my very first quilting project and I cant put into words the joy and peace of mind that I got through this project and I have never looked back since.
ReplyDeleteThe Lily's Quilts blender bundle is fantastic. I kept seeing "blender bundle" in other comments and thinking of something tone-on-tone and unexciting. Was I wrong! Such fresh modern fabrics!
