Oh Lynne this is so so fabulous - I am so so impressed, it looks even better than I thought it would! (I've even got yr original block on my desktop for inspiration!)
Yes, your sister is one lucky lady - what's her address so I can intercept it when it's on the washing line? heh heh heh
Love it, love it - the quilt, the photo, the background, the leaves, the sky - it looks fab. I SOOO miss the seasons - it looks perfect for snuggling under a quilt like this!
This is one of those quilts that makes me think "I soooo frikkin wish I'd come up with this!" It's absolutely brilliant Lynne!!! To say I love it would be an understatement!
This is a stunning, original, beautifully executed quilt. You must patent it or copyright it or at least publish the pattern. Fantastic. If your sister doesn't like it by the way...just get in touch
This quilt is just so brilliant!! I wish you'd teased your sister and posted that you'd decided to keep it. oooh I'm cheeky. She sure is one lucky lady.
Im sure you already know this but this quilt is amazing! Do you know the German Reclam books? Little yellow ones... that would be a fun version of this quilt too. Hrmm... may have to let myself be inspired by your penguin quilt and see what I come up with.
The coolest, most whimsical, cleverest quilt ever. Hands down. I am in awe!
