Love it, Pin it, Win it

Moda Bake Shop have announced a fun competition this morning.  You pick your favourite Moda Bake Shop Project or Projects.  You then pin then on Pinterest with the tags #modabakeshop #modafabrics #lovepinwin.  Four winners are then picked to win a kit to make the project they pinned.  There are two further chances to win by linking a blogpost to the bottom of their Love it, Pin It, Win It blogpost.

And I am going to unashamedly pick my very favourite quilt from Moda Bake Shop.  I designed this quilt the minute I saw Aneela Hoey's first line, Sherbert Pips and fell head over heels in love with it.  I had to get my hands on it as soon as humanly possible and designing for Moda Bake Shop seemed the best way to achieve that.  Of all the quilts I've designed, this one has been re-made the most and it never fails to make me smile seeing it in so many different fabrics.  And it gives me a thrill that other people should want to make something I designed.  Despite being made up of pieced hexagons, this is a dead simple quilt to cut and piece and comes together very quickly.  It is also a great way to get the most out of a layer cake and to show off every print in a line of fabrics.

If you want to try your hand at making this quilt, everything you need to know is in this blogpost here.  And if you want to chance your arm at winning some wonderful Moda pre-cuts, everything you need to know is in this blogpost here.
