Eternal Maker Fat Quarter Clubs

That time of the year has come around again and I have received two of the three Eternal Maker FQ sets.  I subscribe to the Designer FQs, the Moda FQs and the Japanese FQs.  The first two arrived and the third is coming soon apparently awaiting an "exciting" delivery from Japan.  Eeeep.  The Designer FQ package this month are Monaluna organic fabric designed by Jennifer Moore.  These are from the Taali line and have a Scandinavian feel and a farmyard theme - appropriate for me as my nearest neighbours for about a mile in every direction are cows, sheep and tractors.  My favourite is the black sheep print sitting on top in this pile.

The Moda FQs are Domestic Bliss by Liz Scott.  Just as with Lilli and Will last quarter, I was not wowed by this line when I saw picture of it online but am in love with the fabrics in person.  The colours are right up my street, vibrant and with nice contrast through the pile and wouldn't that top print make a perfect binding?

I will let you know as soon as the next bundle arrives containing the exciting arrivals from Japan.  Eeep again.

  3. I'm don't think I could commit to FQ bundles - I wouldn't have any idea what to do with these as they are not quite my style (if I have a style) - they just don't 'speak' to me. You know that 'buy me' and 'you can't live without me' chant that keeps kicking in ;o)

  6. now those domestic bliss ones are SO 70s in colour and design. I feel like I had the second one down in a dress, or was it a polyester blouse, or a floppy sun hat?

  14. Love the Black sheep too, and I have the perfect sheep-mad sister to use that for! And you are so right that top bright block fabric in the next photo would make fab binding. I've seen it somewhere online and it would be perfect to finish my next planned project, so am off now to track it down....
