I wish we could have a launch party, drink lots of champagne and get silly. As for the quilting, I like the straight lines but a little more spread out. I wonder what just a couple of lines of different colour thread would look like. It's a wonder that all these suggestions dont just confuse you more.Rachaeldaisyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15437603769773251690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6513356584940430771.post-33184004787093958322011-02-07T07:54:19.917+00:002011-02-07T07:54:19.917+00:00Keep it simple - go on as planned, plain with acce...Keep it simple - go on as planned, plain with accent stitchingAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05386852386404591819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6513356584940430771.post-46080131686606319592011-02-07T06:12:32.339+00:002011-02-07T06:12:32.339+00:00I think maybe you're feeling the dark threads...I think maybe you're feeling the dark threads going through the blocks are distracting from the quilt. I really love the straight line quilting though. Have you considered using a lighter grey cotton thread? You would see more of it on the black but it would leave the area in the blocks softer and more of a focus.Katrinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13910719984341122913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6513356584940430771.post-6247196929249917802011-02-07T02:07:31.930+00:002011-02-07T02:07:31.930+00:00The straight lines complement the different angles...The straight lines complement the different angles of the blocks really well.
