Giveaway Mondays - Oakshott Fabrics

This week's giveaway comes from Oakshott Fabrics who are giving away one kit to make the 50 Shades + Grey​ (retail price £58)​ quilt, designed for Oakshott by me!  Oakshott Fabrics' shot weaves, with their different warp and weft thread combinations, change colour when viewed from different angles, emphasising the 3-D effect.​ ​​50 Shades u​s​es fifty different 5” squares plus additional greys​, all from the Colourshott​ collection, and finishes​ at 41" x 41". ​

    It is a toss up between the zest and tangerine shades as I love the warmth of colours in the yellow-orange range.

    There is not a bad combo in all the Oakshot pallette, but my cy favorite is zest. Yellow is my favorite color and the particular shade created by thes fivers is so bright and vibrant! A touch of yellow adds pizzazz to most of my quilts.

    I saw Oakshott fabric for the first time this year at the NEC. I was amazed by the way the fabric shimmered. I also love the Sea Green, but any green gets my vote. I think a quilt in shades of green would be fab xx
