Giveaway Mondays - Desert To Sea

So we have a giveaway here at Lily's Quilts every Monday.

Today I have a copy of Jane Davidson's beautiful Australian quilt collaboration book, Desert To Sea,  to give away.  Available at all your usual online sellers, you can also buy this book direct from Jane's own website.

Jane has pulled together a group of wonderful Australian quilt designers who have each contributed a quilt to the book.  These are Betty Kerr, Cathy Underhill, Charlotte Dumesny, Danielle Aeuckens, Jane Davidson, Rachaeldaisy, Jeannette Bruce and Lorena Uriarte.  The book is curated, designed and published by Jane herself, no mean feat.

In her intro to the book, Jane says:

I find most Australian quilters are inherently eclectic in their style of quilting. They are not afraid to use bold colours and patterns in their designs. Maybe it is a reflection of the beauty that surrounds them and the diversity in our landscape and culture that inspires them to create such beautiful and unique quilts.

As well as containing ten wonderful and inspiration projects, there are beautiful photos of the quilt both photographed flat so you can really see what you're making and photographed against some beautiful Australian scenery.

This also has the feel of a book designed by quilters for quilters with really good clear instructions and diagrams throughout.
To be in with a chance of winning a copy of this wonderful book, just leave a comment on this post.

And the winner of last week's prize of a $50 gift certificate to Bobbie Lou's Fabric Factory was picked by random number generator and is...
