Have you Love Patchwork and Quilting Magazine yet? It's a UK magazine but selling worldwide and I'm seeing it popping up on IG feeds worldwide which is so exciting. This week the UK gang's all here which gives me a huge thrill that we have our own little quilting community. The front cover of issue 5 is graced by a quilt by Karen Blueberry Park and a pillow by Susan Canadian Abroad.
Katy I'm A Ginger Monkey's pixellated scissors quilt is my favourite make of this issue.
Laura Needles Pins and Baking Tins has made a very cool table runner using Art Gallery Fabrics.
Florence Flossie Teacakes continues her love of English paper piecing with this cute pouch.
Fiona Poppy Makes has made the most perfect scrappy tumbler quilt.
And here's a close up of Susan Canadian Abroad's pillow which is my other favourite make of the issue.
And of course we can't forget loony toons Hadley Flying Blind on a Rocket Cycle's wonderful key fobs (I even have one of these myself which I use daily).
And the final few pages of the mag are given over to my BOM made from Kate Spain's beautiful Daydram line. Two blocks every month...
...and a quilt patter. And there's lot more in the issue which I haven't shown you.
Can't find this for love nor money round these parts. If WH Smiths in the centre of Oxford don't have it then there isn't much chance for anyone else doing it!
ReplyDeleteIt's always in my WH Smiths (leicester) on the day it comes out...
DeleteWHsmith in Abingdon have it :-)
DeleteW H Smith`s in Leeds have it, come on Oxford get your act together
