Siblings Together Quilt No. 2

Before getting into this post, thank you for the wonderful response to the Siblings Together Quilting Bee request yesterday.  The bee filled very quickly.  If you were one of the first few and didn't hear from me, that is because you are a no-reply-comment-blogger (google it and fix it!) and I couldn't respond to your comment.  There were enough responses for one or two more extra bees so I'd suggest that any of you who are still interested, set up a thread in the Siblings Together Flickr group and organise yourselves into a second bee.  If you'd like to do that but need help in how a bee works, take a look at this post here.

Today is the post with my second Siblings Together quilt.  Again using the same Nursery Versery prints as yesterday and once again inspired by Karen's quilt but this time I cut smaller squares and did away with the checkerboard layout.  I kept the quilting very simple - straight line diagonal cross hatching.  I always mark with a hera marker first to keep the lines as straight as possible.

And I mixed up the colours as randomly as I could, hung it over the fence outside the back door, took a photo and Bob's your uncle.
