The Gypsy Wife is growing

I am now into month 11 of the Amitie Textiles BOM, the Gypsy Wife.  Month 10 involved making a whole series of quick and easy blocks a selection of which you can see below.  


Month 11 is the month of assembling the quilt top.  Step 1...

And I've just ordered this print to go on the back, taking advantage of the flat rate shipping offers this weekend at Sew Fresh Fabrics.  I do love a large scale print for a quilt back so if you turn the quilt over,  it looks just as good as the front.  I think in this case my son Jack will prefer the back of this quilt.  His honest assessment of this one was "I like the shapes but really don't like the colours you've chosen".

  8. Because of the gorgeousness of your quilt I have signed up for the coming one. Never done curved seams before but there is always a first time. Thanks for sharing with us this piece of gorgeousness.
