If you would like to make yourself one of these, Krista has just released the pattern for the pillow and you can find it over at her blog here. If you have a charm pack lying around and fancy a quick and easy project, this is just for you. I'm thinking of making one from those new Oakshott rubies, or maybe from those grey fabrics I bought the other day, or maybe from some Mama Said Sew (if I had some). Or I might make a Christmas pillow from Winterkist when I manage to get my hands on some. Or wouldn't this be cool in Summersville? Or in Konas ... ooh I have some Kona charm packs ... off to rummage...
Lucky duck!
ReplyDeleteI already have the pattern and a Dresden. Hope to find some time!
I love it. What a great friend she is. Dresden is on my list of things to tackle along with paper piecing this years.
ReplyDeleteyes, I believe I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT, followed by I WANT IT, I WANT IT, I WANT IT did the trick. It doesn't go with a single thing in my house, so I'm very happy the pillow has found a comfy home. Enjoy Lynne (preferably with a fruity drink topped by umbrella in hand).
ReplyDeleteSo cheery! Just finished a Dresden for a pouch swap for our guild. They just look happy, don't they? :)
ReplyDeleteI love it!! It would look great made with my precious Terrain charm packs...
ReplyDeleteAsk and ye shall receive? Or is it in fact, beg embarrassingly and she'll give in? ;o) It's fab though, I can see why you went there!
ReplyDeleteIt`s lovely and you`re right, in Summersville, it would be gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteooooh, great pillow. I love dresdens. Love the new header by the way!
ReplyDeleteIt is soooooooooo pretty.
ReplyDeleteWow so indecisive! Put the options into a hat and pull one out =D
ReplyDeleteGreat cushion - very enviable! I guess you are making a whole set of cushions then!
ReplyDeleteI really love this pillow and just happen to have a few charm packs laying around!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet of Krista to send it to you! Lucky ducky!
