Alegria now in at Backstitch

Do you know Geninne?  I've been following her on Flickr for a couple of years and adoring her beautiful bird artwork.

Well now she is designing fabric for Cloud 9 and her new line has just landed at Backstitch.

They feel to me like vintage Liberty.

And you have got to love these peacocks.

And in case you can't choose between them, Alice as put together this fabulous bundle with the whole lot in:

  1. I've been looking at pillow tutorials so I can get my first one done properly as a present for my sister, before making ones for our new house soon after getting there... these would make beautiful pillows!!

  5. I agree with you about these prints being similar to Liberty. The second print from the top, the watercolor with flowers, is my favorite!

  6. So when I first glanced at the post title I thought it said "the algebra of the backstitch." What? Lynne has gone all mathematical on us now?

Whew! SO happy to find out it was really lovely pictures of gorgeous fabric.

  7. I'm so excited about these too. I love Gennine's work (do you download her monthly calendar pic ?- that way you get a pic of hers on your iPad homescreen all the time - awesome!) Her birds are just beautiful, can't wait to get my hands on the fabric!
