Winter trees in the snow

I am making the Oakshott 12 trees quilt kit for my Mum's birthday in March. 3 trees down, 9 to go. You may see more photos like this because I am head over heels in love with the irridesecent colours of these shot cottons. And because 8" of snow is forecast for tonight so I may be housebound with nothing to do but feed my four kids and husband, light warm fires, sew winter trees in shot cottons and tiptoe out in the snow to photograph them.

  2. wow if I chucked my sewing casually onto the snow it would be swept up by the bin men mistaking it for rubbish. Fandabbidozee.

  17. Ok...that does it now that you are actually making them. I have the site tabbed. I love everything about this kit. Actually not sure about the free form trees, but you are doing fine. I was hesitant to order out of the country, but I think I will go for it.
