Carla's Quilt is nearly done

The quilt I am making for my sister's friend Carla is finally all in one piece and just needs one more row of quilting and then binding but I was so excited to finally get it in one piece, I had to take a photo - it's on the lawn and I was taking this from the attic - it's a BIG quilt.

  1. Yummy! It's looking fabulous! I don't think I could find a big enough piece of grass to lay a quilt on that hasn't got rabbit holes/rabbit poo or ants in it.

  4. This look so fantastic! I really like your FMQ on the read and the straight line on the grey makes it pop - looks just like a bunch of picture frames hanging on a wall, love it!

  8. Congrats on getting to this point. I can kinda guess how big it is if you needed to go to the attic to take a pic, but do you know what the rough dimensions are? And how do you handle such a large quilt come quilting time?

  15. My goodness! When do you eat and sleep? I much prefer large quilts over small ones. When so much love and effort goes into a project, I want it to be both beautiful and functional. Carla's a lucky girl.
